Tim Returns With Winning Ways

Tim Crighton, the first driver to compete with the team in T Cars in 1999 made a brief return to the Mini Challenge at Croft taking pole position for both Club Class encounters and a win in the second race. His potential for a clean sweep thwarted with a gearbox problem whilst leading in race one.
Tim Crighton said “ I am really pleased to have taken pole for the races and obviously frustrated to have had the gearbox problems in race one. However, I feel that we made amends in race two. I am very keen to compete again on a regular basis; it has been nearly eighteen months since I was last in a car and hopefully the results at Croft will help prove I can still run at the front in saloon cars.!
